Finlandia: Museum of Less Ordinary

In collaboration with Next DC, Komplekt contributed to the curation and execution of Finlandia: Museum of Less Ordinary project. Tasked with elevating the brand's storytelling, we carefully selected and collaborated with designers who could encapsulate the essence of "less ordinary" living. We oversaw the realisation and production process, ensuring that each design element aligned with the project's vision. Our services included co-curation, selection of designers, communication with them, opening speech of the exhibition. The result was an engaging and immersive pop-up campaign that transformed everyday moments into extraordinary experiences, seamlessly blending design and brand narrative.

Cabinets of Wisdom: Bulgarian Proverbs Reimagined by Finnish Artists

As a continuation to the previous two pop-up exhibitions for Finlandia, Next DC invited once again Komplekt to bring a fresh perspective to traditional Bulgarian proverbs. Our task was to select Finnish designers and navigate them in the challenging process of bridging traditional cultural narratives into contemporary installations. By facilitating this unique artistic dialogue from concept to production, Komplekt managed to ensure that the reinterpretation of these timeless proverbs resonates with various audiences. We also invited Eva Ventova to work on the set design, by crafting unique cabinets to hold each designer’s small installation. This project showcased the transformative power of cross-cultural collaboration and design, delivering a meaningful, bold and unexpected reinterpretation of a well known heritage.
