Komplekt is a consultancy and production creative agency focused on the theme of design. The studio develops concepts and cultural content in the form of events, exhibitions and products, realized in new surprising formats. Komplekt collaborates with a wide network of creatives and organizations, selected and mixed uniquely for each project. Another field of work is copywriting and crafting texts for image building and helping organizations highlight their strongest sides. Komplekt also writes articles in the field of design.
Komplekt was founded in 2015 by Adriana Andreeva and Boiana Gjaurova. They both have vast experience in cultural management, curating and journalism, with strong expertise in the field of design, architecture and visual culture.
Komplekt performs as both a collaborator and a subcontractor of companies from all business spheres, as well as of local and public institutions and cultural organizations. The team has a distinctive experience and expertise in managing European projects in the creative industries field.
Komplekt develops Melba Design Initiatives – a label including a dynamic online archive with some of the most recognized names in all areas of Bulgarian design; four mini live design lecture events per year; a series of design classes; an annual 10-day design festival with international participation, as well as an online store – a showcase of the latest in Bulgarian design.
Komplekt acts as a mediator for names and projects in design and other creative disciplines, both locally and internationally.
The key factor to the team’s work is their perpetual curiosity about everything new and well crafted that comes into view on the Bulgarian design scene.
